We specialize in sharpening knives and cutlery for both home cooks and professional chefs, as well as salon scissors and shears for hairstylists. We also provide expert sharpening services for a range of indoor tools, garden shears, and loppers. However, please note that we do not sharpen outdoor equipment, such as chainsaw blades or lawn mower blades.

Knife Sharpening Prices: Straightforward and Reliable

For standard edge profiles on kitchen knives and cutlery, pricing is straightforward and based on the blade length. However, if your knives have nicks, chips, or need regrinding, reshaping, or other repairs, we recommend contacting us in advance. This helps ensure there are no unexpected delays.

Additionally, special cases like bent tips and broken tips will be addressed on an individual basis. Knives that require bolster grinding or edge thinning to restore usability will also be handled individually. we’ll always reach out to discuss any additional work and provide a clear price before starting the job.

Knife Sharpening Prices

• Standard Kitchen Knives: $1.00 per blade inch
• Vegetable & Meat Cleavers: $1.50 per blade inch
• Serrated Knives: $1.50 per blade inch (if possible – we can’t sharpen some serrated blades)
• Pocket Knives: $6.00 for the first blade, $3.00 per additional blade
• “EDC”/Folders: $15.00 and up (please call for a quote)
• Fixed-Blade Hunting or Camping Knives: $15.00 and up (please call for a quote)
• Machetes: $1.50 per blade inch
• Axes & Hatchets: $12.00 and up (please call for a quote)

• Tip Repairs (if possible): $6.00
• Bolster Repairs (if possible): $6.00
• Blade Thinning: $3.00 per blade inch
• Specialty Shop Work: $65.00 per hour
